Privacy Policy
Bodrum Flow is designed to make local discovery effortless — not to trade in your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
By joining TestFlight or Google Play, you agree that we may process limited personal information to deliver, troubleshoot, and improve the app. We do not sell your data, we don’t run third‑party advertising SDKs, and we don’t use your data for cross‑app tracking.
Information We Collect
Account: name, email address, and language preference (if you provide them).
Product interactions: screens viewed, taps, feature usage, in‑app messages, and device info (model, OS, app version).
Event preferences: filters and categories you select so recommendations remain relevant.
Crash & diagnostics: logs and performance data from Apple TestFlight and Google Play for debugging.
Push notifications: an app‑specific push token (e.g., Expo/FCM/APNs).
Location (optional): approximate or precise location **only if you grant permission**, used to show nearby events.
Calendar (optional): read/write access **only if you grant permission** to add events you select; we do not read your calendar content for analytics.
- We avoid collecting sensitive categories of data.
- You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.
How We Use Your Information
Provide and operate the app, including account, language, and notification preferences.
Recommend events based on your filters and approximate position (if enabled).
Measure usage to improve reliability and user experience.
Detect abuse and keep Bodrum Flow secure.
Permissions & Device Access
Location: to suggest nearby events (optional).
Calendar: to add events you explicitly choose (optional).
Notifications: to send updates you opt into (optional).
- You are asked for consent the first time a permission is needed.
- You can change these choices later in system settings.
Sharing & Service Providers
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We share data only with processors that help us run the app (e.g., hosting, analytics, beta distribution, notifications).
Examples include Apple TestFlight, Google Play/Play Services (including FCM), and our cloud/database and analytics providers.
These providers process data under contracts that limit their use to providing services to us.
Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide Bodrum Flow or as required by law.
Crash logs and analytics are retained by their platforms according to their own policies; we keep only aggregated, non‑identifying metrics.
International Transfers
We may process data on servers located outside your country.
Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Your Choices & Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us.
You can opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe links.
You can disable analytics or revoke permissions in your device settings where supported.
EEA/UK users: you may also have GDPR rights including data portability and objection to processing.
Children
Bodrum Flow is designed for users aged 16 and above.
If we learn that we collected information from someone under 16 without consent, we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top and, if changes are material, we will provide additional notice in the app.
Store Disclosures
We complete Apple’s App Privacy questions and Google Play’s Data safety form to disclose our privacy practices. If our practices change, we will update those disclosures accordingly.
